What's This About?
I got into boating later in life. Around 2020 to be exact. Sure, I tootled around lakes on ski and pontoon boats but it wasn't until I learned to sail and owned a power boat that I really fell in love with boating.
As my experience on boats of all shapes and sizes increases, so does my appreciation for the style, the vibe, the apparel and products that enhance the boating experience.
I boat with my husband who often "reminds" me how to do things like tie lines, put out fenders, and trim sails. As a Texan, I grew up saying, "this isn't my first rodeo" to folks that told me what I already knew. On the boat, I started saying "It's not my first boateo," to my well-meaning captain.
And here we are. Knot My First Boateo was launched from my love of the spirit and style of Texans and my affection for boating and the amazing lifestyle surrounding it.
